With everything going on technologically and politically, I've been having similar thoughts. I love this question, what remains? I hope the life changes lead you to an even better place.

I remember my boss trying to convince the president of the university that we needed a website because two other schools had one. You are right. Why do we need it? We don't know.

I also remember exacto knives cutting out type, to be replaced with other type that the type guy just delivered to the studio. Sometimes just one word.

Love those memories, Kay, some of them shared.

I remember my first word processor, it was heavier than 7 bricks and took up my whole desk. Great reflection on change.

I can just imagine it! Mine was huge, too, and printed in dot matrix--oh, the racket it made!

I kinda miss it!😂😂 well we still have the printer which hasn't changed in 100 years it makes such a racket when it feels like printing 😂😂

I remember working for BowSteel in CT about 40 years ago and we got a word processor. I was tasked with figuring out how it worked and what to do. Crazy to think how far we’ve come.

Right? Now we have such powerful computers in our pockets all the time. We always laugh at how our math teachers used to say, "You're not going to carry around a calculator in your pocket!" No--no we are not. 😅
